Abstract

In this seminar, we are attempting to take you through a period of over sixty years of the history of information security, starting with the beginnings of cryptography as we know it, looking at some modern applications of encryption and culminating in leading-edge biometric techniques, including advanced iris recognition as a means of authentication.
