Abstract

Following successful IT Security events in 2003 and 2004, the BCS Birmingham Branch are holding their 3rd Annual one day IT Security Conference at the Lakeside Conference Centre of Aston University, Birmingham on 7th June 2005.

Speakers include Sir Edmund Burton, former Director of PITO, who will give the Public Sector Keynote, John Topping, CEO Senselect, presenting on Biometric Authentication, Prof. Peter Landrock of Cryptomathic presenting on Cryptography, and Prof. Brian Collins Vice-President of BCS. The sessions will once again be chaired by Col. John Doody, Director of Interlocutor Services and former Head of Information Assurance Customer Services, CESG.

The Conference is the must-attend event for organisations concerned about protecting and safeguarding their information and infrastructures. In addition to the speakers' presentations there will be live demonstrations of current technology and exhibition stands.
